When we first bought the carriage, it was far from what you see today. It had previously been converted to include a bar, so nearly half of the space was taken up by a cellar, stock room and kitchen, with the remaining half of the carriage used for seating. Years of neglect and abandonment had really taken its toll! There was rot throughout, leaks in the roof, smashed windows and even a wasp nest in the bathroom walls. It was clear from day one that we had our work cut out, but we could also see the potential to bring it back to life and give it a completely new purpose.
